According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Denver Nuggets guard Will Barton will make his return to the lineup tonight in Game 2 against the Phoenix Suns.
Barton has been out since April 23rd after suffering a right hamstring strain that forced him to miss the Nuggets past 20 games. In 56 games this season, Barton averaged 12.7 points, four rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game.
Barton will bring an instant boost to the Nuggets depleted lineup that has been surviving over the past month without him, Jamal Murray, and PJ Dozier. It’s likely Barton will be on a minutes restriction, but hopefully he gives the Nuggets strong minutes when he is on the court.
Welcome back (hopefully), Will Barton!
