After clinching their first Western Conference Finals berth since 2009 just last night, the Denver Nuggets got even more good news the following morning.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Nuggets GM Calvin Booth has withdrawn his name from the Sacramento Kings front office search.
Marc Spears of ESPN reported last week — on September 13th — that Booth had just wrapped up his interview with the Kings and not even a week later, the news has dropped that Booth will be staying.
This is big news for the Nuggets franchise moving forward as Booth has played a major role in where this team is today. After losing former general manager Arturus Karnisovas to the Bulls earlier this season, the Nuggets just could not afford to lose another outstanding front office person like Booth.
