According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Denver Nuggets have signed PJ Dozier to an NBA contract to fill their final roster spot.
This is not the first time the Nuggets have signed one of their two-way players to an NBA contract as they did the same with Torrey Craig and Monte Morris. Dozier’s situation falls into the same situation and like the others, it is extremely well deserved.
Dozier appeared in 21 games for the Nuggets this season and averaged 4.1 points in 11.1 minutes per game. Not only was Dozier holding his own in the NBA, but he was also one of the star players in the G-League. In 18 games with the Windy City Bulls, Dozier put up eye popping numbers averaging 21.2 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 7.3 assists in 36.9 minutes per game.
With the Nuggets signing Dozier to a full NBA contract, they now have an open two-way contract.
