Each year the NBA holds the Rookie Photo Shoot, giving the league an opportunity to get some nice photos of the incoming class of basketball players.
It's a fun opportunity for the players, many of whom have been working their entire life to reach this point in their career. It's also a nice opportunity for the players to send photos of them in their jerseys to their parents. You should also use this opportunity to send a photo to your family members, you know they love that kind of stuff.
The Nuggets had their three first-round picks in attendance – maybe they were worried Petr Cornelie would show up in a t-shirt again. The gallery on NBA.com has some great photos, head over there to check them out if you're interested. The photo of the Kings rookie Georgios Papagiannis is great, he looks like he's about to take his seat on the ferry for the river Styx.

This photo with Brandon Ingram is a good opportunity to remind everyone that despite having about six inches on Murray, the Nuggets guard outweighs Ingram by 10 to 15 pounds. ESPN published an article on August 2 about the trials Ingram has to face in regards to eating six meals a day as he tries to gain weight. Tough life.

The first thing I noticed about this picture of Murray is THAT HIS SHOE IS UNTIED THAT SEEMS DANGEROUS. Murray isn't a ground-bound shooter like J.J. Redick, and has shown off some impressive leaps in games. Oh, to have a seat in the stands for a practice when Barton or Faried challenges Murray or Beasley to a dunk contest.

As the first Nuggets draft pick after a prodigious year at Kentucky, Murray was the player that appeared the most frequently in the photos the NBA released. Here's a picture of him in the Nuggets alternate gold jersey.

It might be the angle of the photo here of Juancho, but it looks like he has giant hands. I'm talking like Rondo or Kawhi level hands. Maybe I'm just used to seeing small hands with all the political coverage that is on the news lately.

Now, this next photo needs some background. Malik Beasley's family works in the entertainment industry. His father is an actor, and his grandfather is an actor. He comes from a family that is comfortable being photographed.
I think that helps explain how comfortable he looks here. That's a great smile, and he has such a positive look on his face. I only know this is a great photo because it's the opposite of nearly every photo taken of me, I'm terrible in pictures. Where do I put my hands? Why am I staring into the sun? I'll have to ask Malik for photo tips if I ever get the opportunity.

Here's a picture of all three first round picks together. As exciting as it is to see their pictures at a photo shoot, I'm even more excited to see them play in actual NBA games. November can't come soon enough.
