What has gotten into the Manimal?
Kenneth Faried has been unstoppable over the last two games. Faried was the best player on the floor for large stretches of the game tonight and, although he prefers starting, he is an incredible weapon for the team off of the bench. He put in 25 points tonight and dunked all over the hapless Knicks, leading the Nuggets to their 2nd straight win.
Faried and Nikola Jokic have developed a nice chemistry on offense together. The two players really compliment each other nicely, Jokic handling much of the skill work and Faried handling all of the grunt work. It’s like the basketball equivalent of buddy-cop movie, where one smooth and relaxed and the other is vicious and dunks on your head. When those two get rolling, the Nuggets play a beautiful brand of basketball.
