In this REWATCH episode of the Locked on Nuggets podcast, I am joined by TJ McBride of Mile High Sports and Eric Wedum of D Line Co. The three of us rewatched Denver’s 2017 win over the Golden State Warriors, a game in which the shorthanded Denver Nuggets blew out the Warriors behind a record-tying 24 three-pointers. This was one of the most memorable games of the Nikola Jokic era Nuggets and served as a glimpse into the potential of core of the roster including Jokic, Jamal Murray, Gary Harris, and Juancho Hernangomez who had far and away the best game of his career.
We also ask a few fallout questions from this game including whether or not the Nuggets matchup well against the Warriors, What would’ve changed had the Nuggets made the playoffs that year, what would’ve happened last year had Juancho been healthy, and more.
It’s an extremely fun stroll down memory lane to rewatch and relive one of the most exciing games in recent Nuggets history.
