Sharpshooters delight set to take stage in Phoenix
My favorite All-Star event has to be the three-point shootout. Perhaps because the three-pointer is my most closely related NBA trait. Though at one point I could dunk a dodge ball in high school!
Anyhow, the three-point contest features two-time winner Jason Kapono, who is looking to join Larry Bird (Celtics) and Craig Hodges (Bulls) as the third player to win three straight titles, according to NBA.com.
The player I'll be watching is Roger Mason of the San Antonio Spurs. Mason's downfall could be that he's a set-shot shooter and this event requires speed and great rhythm.
