Danilo Gallinari led all scorers with 26 points and at one point was 6-10 from downtown before finishing the night 6-13 from deep. He added 5 rebounds and 3 assists to go along with his scoring efforts.
Ty Lawson played his finest preseason game by going 6-11 from the field (4-5 from the foul line) to score 17 points and he also had a game-high 11 assists for his first double-double of the fake season.
Andre Iguodala was just 3-12 from the floor, scoring just 7 points. But, like you must do with DreDala, you have to note his other contributions. He added 10 rebounds (4 offensive), 6 assists, and 3 steals. He did commit a team-high 4 turnovers in what has been a tuning-up preseason for the newly acquired Nuggets wing.
The center rotation was again split among three guys. Kosta Koufos started, but played just 19 minutes. He put up 5 points, 6 rebounds (1 offensive), and had 3 steals. JaVale McGee played just 18 minutes, but was very efficient going 5-9 from the floor for 10 points and 3 rebounds. Timofey Mozgov played 8 minutes off the bench and scored 3 points and had 1 rebound. Like I said in the comment section of last night’s thread – it would be nice to see two guys in the rotation and about 25 minutes from each, give the big men more time on the floor to get into a rhythm.
Corey Brewer led the Nuggets’ bench, again, with 15 points. He also added 4 rebounds and 1 steal on the night.
The Nuggets will be in action again on Thursday in their final home preseason game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
