The first half of the first preseason game went about as well as one could expect against the reigning NBA champion Golden State Warriors. The Denver Nuggets got up and down the floor, Paul Millsap took some time to get acclimated, and Nikola Jokić made a ridiculous pass.
Toward the end of the half, Jokić caught the ball at the elbow, drove to the paint, and acted like he was going to spin. Little did the Warriors know that Wilson Chandler was cutting to the rim, and mid-spin, Jokić flipped the ball over his shoulder to the cutting Chandler for an easy basket. This is the first #MagicJokić assist of the year, and it definitely won’t be the last.
