If I were to level on criticism of the Nuggets ownership under Stan/Josh Kroenke … it was their lack of awareness of Nuggets history. The ownership seemed reluctant to embrace the Nuggets past (such as it is) and have nights featuring the greats of Nuggets past.
It seems that over the last year this view has largely changed. Recently the team has chosen to celebrate the Nuggets 1994 miracle playoff team (be sure and be there on March 17th when they honor the team at halftime of their game against the Clippers). Today, they released a hype video that truly embraces their past. Showing greats like Doug Moe, Dan Issel, Alex English an others. Even pointing out Chauncey Billups.
It's well worth a view. I even teared up a little while watching. For those of us that love this team, and always will, this has been a long time coming. Hopefully there will be more to come.
