If the regular season has taught us anything thus far it's this: the Warriors vs. Nuggets would be one hell of a playoff match-up.
The two teams have played each other three times this season and the Nuggets have come away with two wins, but all three games have been tightly contested. The Nuggets won the first meeting in Oakland 107-101 in double-overtime – thanks to some late game heroics by Danilo Gallinari. That was the game where Gallo sent things to double-OT with a heads up dunk and nailed a giant three in the final minute of that double-OT to go along with a couple free throws to ice things.

Gallo’s dunk and three-pointer in the first Warriors game.
The second meeting in Denver found the Warriors with a 53-47 lead heading into the half. The Nuggets out-scored the Warriors 55-38 in the second half and got strong performances from Andre Iguodala (29 points), Gallo again (20 points) and Ty Lawson (18 points) as the trio scored 67 of Denver's 102 total points (102-91). Stephen Curry was held to just 6 points on 2-5 shooting with Lawson being the primary defender on him all night.
The Warriors had revenge on their mind when the two teams met just six days later back in Oakland. David Lee exploded for 31 points on 13-15 shooting and this time Curry and Klay Thompson added some fire-power with 20and 21 points respectfully. Gallo dropped 20 points again, Lawson came up with 17 points of his own and Andre Iguodala almost scored 25 points, but finished with just 22 on the night. And we can all remember why right?
Iguodala took a buzzer beater (after an ill-attempted Andre Miller to Lawson lob pass over the defense) with 0.05 seconds left on the clock and his three-point make was waived off as the ball was still in his hands. If only the refs would have put the correct time back on the clock of 0.08 seconds (at least) … haha the old coulda/woulda/shoulda …

Iguodala’s almost heroics.
The Nuggets have been involved in some close games lately and will need some big performances tonight from their usual suspects and they might even need a surprise contribution from someone else to get a big big big win. Again, the season series is 2-1 Nuggets and having the head-to-head tie breaker over this Golden State club could prove to be very important come April.
Views you can use:
-Iguodala leads the Nuggets in scoring average against the Warriors this season as he’s averaging 23.3 points to go along with 7.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists.
-Gallo is averaging 20.3 points and 7.7 rebounds against G.S. in three games.
-David Lee is averaging 23.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 4.7 assists against the Nuggets this season. Kenneth Faried will need to transform into the Manimal once again.
–WILSON CHANDLER will be available to play this evening! I’ll have an update before the game as to whether George Karl plans to use Wilson this evening.
