Sheesh. In case there was any question on how good Jamal Murray is, take a look at what he did against the Utah Jazz today. Murray was absolutely clutch and came through when Denver was struggling in the second half and Jazz counterpart Donovan Mitchell was literally lighting the nets on fire. The tweet below is jaw-dropping:
As you can see, Murray came up big time both as a facilitator and scorer for Denver late in the game. The two-man game with him and Nikola Jokic was on point, but even more impressive was his ability to hit any kind of shot. Murray had some crazy step backs and turnarounds that honestly are only shots I’ve seen Murray make. Thank goodness they went in.
Murray finished the game with a playoff career high 36 points along with nine assists and five rebounds. Most importantly, the Nuggets chalked up the win.
