A star his been born during these NBA playoffs and his name is Jamal Murray. The Nuggets point guard has become a superstar in the Orlando bubble and he was at it again on Tuesday night to lead the Nuggets to a much needed Game 3 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers.
In the Nuggets first Western Conference Finals victory since 2009, Murray scored a team-high 28 points on 10-of-17 shooting from the field, 4-of-8 from behind the three-point line. No three was bigger than Murray’s fourth, which ended up being the dagger to halt the Lakers comeback.
Murray not only scored the ball with ease, but he got his teammates involved with 12 assists to go along with eight rebounds. Falling just shy of his first career triple-double, Murray still finished with a double-double to help the Nuggets prevail over Los Angeles.
