The Nuggets might’ve gotten blown out but for the first 24 minutes of the game, Pepsi Center was rockin. The Warriors opened the game on a huge run and it looked like an ominous sign of a blowout but Denver made things interesting with a 24-10 run to open the 2nd quarter. That run was led by Kenneth Faried, Denver’s go-to for instant energy and speeding up the game in transition.
Manimal was awesome last night. He had everything going, from fast break alley-oops to rebounds, to blocked shots, to a crucial charge. Best of all, he woke up the Pepsi Center crowd. After several of his big plays, the can erupted and for at least a breif moment, it felt like the good ol’ days once again.
Faried always seems to get up for big games and when Faried is on and engaged, there’s few players more exciting to watch and root for. Check out the full highlights from him last night and turn up the volume to hear the lid blow off of Pepsi Center as the Nuggets made their run.
