There were not many positives from the Denver Nuggets 124-105 loss to the Utah Jazz in Game 2, but Michael Porter Jr.βs performance was certainly one of them. Porter scored 28 points on 10-of-17 shooting from the field and shot a scorching 6-of-9 from three.
Not only did Porter score the ball at will, but he also hauled in six rebounds and put together a much better performance defensively than what we saw in Game 1. In just his second career playoff game, Porter showed that he belongs and deserves more opportunities moving forward.
If the Nuggets want to make it to the next round and beyond, getting Porter more involved is going to be critical. Watch the highlights from Porterβs big playoff game below!
