What can’t Joker do? Last night Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets dispatched the Miami Heat in exciting, down to the buzzer fashion. Jokic was at the apex of it all with his typical mix of scoring, rebounding, passing and timely steals. He also was the Nuggets go to guy down the stretch, getting two ridiculous shots to fall in the waning moments, including what proved to be the game winning basket with just over two seconds to play.
It’s nights like last night that have vaulted Jokic into the MVP conversation. It was clearly a game the Nuggets lose without him and clearly a game where Joker took it upon himself to ensure the victory. Joker now has 20 triple doubles in his career and is the third youngest player to amass that many in NBA history trailing only hall of famers Oscar Robertson and Magic Johnson. Take a look at Joker’s big night!
