NIkola Jokic had a very Jokic-esque game last night against the Toronto Raptors. While others were doing the heavy lifting with scoring, Jokic took on the role of facilitator, grabbing boards and dropping dimes up and down the court. And he had just about every type of assist going on.
This was the first game that the new-look Nuggets looked like last year’s Nuggets on the offensive end. Combine that with a new and improved defense and this team finally showed us what their potential looks like. Jokic even had a couple of nice plays on the defensive end including a pretty gutsy block at the rim on Lucas Nogueira. Check out the full highlights below.
