Will Barton will miss tonight’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans with left toe inflammation. In four games, Barton is averaging 14 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. Barton is also coming off his best game of the season after scoring 19 points in the Nuggets loss to Dallas on Tuesday night.
With Barton out, it could open the door for Michael Porter Jr. to finally makes his Nuggets regular season debut. If Nuggets head coach Michael Malone opts to not go with Porter, Juancho Hernangomez could also be in line for his first minutes of the season.
The Nuggets come into Thursday night with a 3-1 record and are looking to get back into the win column with a victory over New Orleans.
