Today’s the big day. The NBA Trade Deadline is 3:00 Eastern Standard Time, and the Denver Nuggets figure to be busy.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Nuggets have a variety of goals to accomplish before the deadline passes.
If you have been following along the last few weeks, the information isn’t really new. Here at Denver Stiffs, the staff writers have provided their takes over the last few weeks on what Denver is considering, and the following points were the consensus:
- Move on from Emmanuel Mudiay and acquire a backup point guard
- Move on from Wilson Chandler and/or Kenneth Faried to free up salary fro next season
- Create a roster spot for Torrey Craig
Tyreke Evans to Denver has consistently shown up in trade rumors as well, and because Woj is reporting on it, it’s hard to question Denver’s intentions here. It remains to be seen what Denver’s end game is with their other pieces though.
